We all Share this planet.
Our role as we see it is to be good stewards of the gifts we have been given. To cherish the creation and give back to the environment not just to take away. Organic Farming is designed in it's purest form to enrich the soils, while producing strong healthy crops. Using low input farming techniques we do not over fertilize, over water, or take more than we give to the soils. It is very important to balance with the environment.

This is what we mean by low input farming techniques:

Instead of insecticides being sprayed over an entire field:

We are careful to use organic techniques to deture harmful insects while protecting the beneficial insect populations. We walk the fields to watch for pest infestations treating only the plant or small area where the insect is eating rather than the whole field. We are creative in finding ways to treat insect pests without the use of any chemicals whenever possible. Sometimes we use bug vacuumes, or burners to clean off or kill certain pests. When we use insecticides we use only certified organic types that are short lived and usually wash away, breaking down into the soils, with the first rain or watering. Birds populations flourish near our fields because the insects they eat are organic too!

We are careful when watering our fields to put down just enough water to keep nutrition available to the plants. Not to wash nutrition away through the soils into the water tables, making it neccessary to add more and creating a losing cycle. By feeding our crops well we establish healthy growth, and stronger plants that fight off disease and pests requiring less input.
